I just completed the company mandated safty class on PPE safty for your hearing. They recomend basically the same thing I do when I am shooting and when I drive even my garden tractor. These are two types of in ear plugs. The sponge ones are very good and when I run my garden tractor I ALWAYS wear them. The other type are a multi use type of plug. You can wash these as where the sponge type get dirty. When shooting I would wear the in ear type AND the over ear muffs. Durring target shooting it works wonders to preserve your hearing. PLEASE wear hearing protection!!!!!
