First off check and make sure you have a good blue/white spark that will jump a 1/4 inch gap or more at all 4 plugs. Next when was the last time you serviced the air cleaner and dumped the mud and water out and put in fresh oil? Does it do the same thing with the air cleaner tube off? Also check and make sure the choke flap is open all the way. Or you may have the main jet set to rich and you need to turn it in a bit
