Mine did 24kbps. And to think we just got rid of the analog carrier lines in August, and they put in this new digital system...When we moved here in 93, we had just got rid of party lines, and not a fax machine to be found in the town we live near, and it's the county seat. Things have changed dramatically in the last five years..
