I haven't had a chance to drive an MX yet but now that they have worked the bugs out of them they are an exellant tractor. The drivetrain has been around forever and has probably held up better than any other in that size tractor ever has. That transmission was actually designed by IH but they didn't have the money for tooling so it waited until the Magnums came out. I'v heard of some 20,000-30,000 hour Magnums in Florida used to feed cattle in Florida with the original power trains.
