Sorry about the double post, but for the last while I couldn't make any corrections before posting. When I would use the back arrow I would lose everything. I'm still learning on this dang thing. I looked to see if I had posted but checked the wrong board. I hate those double posts, too. BTW: I just checked with Charter and their modem service for me is $39.95 per month. I figured the cost of a second phone and realized that for just a few dollars more, I could have this. I used that web site to check my speed and it took 2.894 seconds to down load. I have the same bps numbers as you. A word of caution though, once you try this faster service you will never be satisfied. I would never go back to phone service. I'm spoiled. Believe me I am not gloating. I just thought this info might help. PS There is another downside to this. My wife just asked me to put Russell Watson (tenor singer) on the speakers while I post this.
