Not a country music fan at all but there was a few good ones in the 60's and early 70's Charlie Pride, Staler Brothers had a few I could listen too,, I see Marty Robbins brought up below,, really liked his stuff,, even got to see him live in Reno NV one year, I was in the front seating area and was lest than 10 feet from him as Good live as on records,, my grandfather loved polka music that stuff I cant take for even a min,, I am a rock and Roll fan always have been,, to each his own though, always love Jim Stafford's song wild wood weed also,, it was played a dozen times a day on the country am station here which is all we had until 1976 when we got our first FM station, before that we had to wait till 9 pm when KOMA would power up to 100,000 watts for my kind of music, of course I had records and 8 tracks for the rest of the day lol
