I stopped in earlier this year and asked the manager nicely for a few. He wanted to know what for. I told him to cover hay and I would not be selling them on craigslist.
He said as long as I promised not to sell them and to use them black side up we could load up as many as we wanted.
We loaded up about 25 for free.
They had about five semi loads waiting to go to the landfill.
They can't be recycled because they are vinyl impregnated fiberglass like cloth.
