I dont know much about a snowmobile,but I had a weedeater one time that the carburetor screws would vibrate loose and it acted kind of like that.It would run a while and then no power.If the bolts that hold the carb on the motor were loose it might do that,or it might be the plugs arent gapped right,or the coil like the other guy said.If you have to mix oil in the gas it might not have enough oil in it,or the rings might be worn out or even the head bolts might not be tight enough when it is hot,or the gasket might not be sealing good when its hot.
