Is it premix or oil injection? Sounds to me like perhaps it's partially seizing when it gets hot, maybe due to a lean mix. Electric start or pullcord? If manual, try shutting it off hot and restarting. See how the pull feels compared to cold starting. This might tell you if it's an oil mixture problem. Does the motor bog and not want to rev, or is the sled just not moving with as much snap as it does cold? Other problem might be the main drive belt/sheaves slipping when it's warm.
