I have to admit I have not tried the acetone and atf combination. I certainly have tried a lot of others including a lot of PB Blaster because that seems to be recommended often.
I want to add using Kroil a couple of times does not tell the story. Some things still need heating. I have been using Kroil for years now and have gained a lot of confidence in it. It was first introduced to me by a tractor restoration speaker at the gathering of the green. He had good results in his tractor restoration business and I personally can see why he liked it after several years of use.
