Last Wednesday, one sold for $8000 in strawberry point Iowa. One sold on a farm sale in Fennimore wi a couple months ago for 8000. I bought my 4640 for 9500 last fall. I paid 16000 for my 4840 in 2015, but it had 1600 hours on a new dealer installed 50 series engine, duals, a full rack of weights. I bought a 4840 for my dad in 2009 for 12100. I don t think I have ever seen one sell for more than 16000, and those are usually pretty sharp machines. Most I watch sell for 12000 or less. Look on bigirons past sales. Cheap big lugs.
