Tiffany, I know a plastic surgeon who was the first in New Zealand to sew the scalp back on a woman who caught her hair in the pto and her entire scalp was pulled off. I could also tell you stories about my experiences in jet fighters, but they aren't really any scarier or more dangerous than the ones y'all have shared with us. A Christmas guest and dear friend is a Reserve squadron commander and a Joint Strike Fighter and Sonic Cruiser test pilot with Boeing. You may see him on "Wings" or such. He was sent, when 14 years of age, to Bushog a hilly area on his Dad's Pennsylvania farm with a JD "B". When a downhill wheel sunk into a gopher hole the tractor rolled. Dennis had been warned to jump towards the downhill side of a rolling tractor and remembered that. He dived over the left rear wheel and vividly remembers clearing the overturned blades of the brushog by 6 inches. He was unhurt but the "B" became a casualty. Like Dennis, I'm glad that you folks are alive to tell your stories. Also, your willingness to share your experiences may save lives. By the way, how many by-the-ditch stories were there????
