Mine came from the fact that I had a Super C Farmall, slip into gear and go trundling down the drive in first gear towards the house. My father took the end of his thumb of via a David Bradley walk behind sickle bar mower. The belt was slipping and he decided to help start it. IT STARTED ALRIGHT!!! and took thumb end right off!! This also happened to my bosses left middle finger! A friend of mine was loading his father's J.D. crawler onto a goose neck hitched trailer and apparently the crawler offset the balance and the truck and trailer with crawler went down the drive way enough to jack knife.
