I use several shot rifle cartridges to cut nice clean holes in gasket material.centerfire poke primer out,you can push a wire in it poke paper cuts out ,rimfire toss n grab another Another item i started using stove and furnace silicone.when an uneven old manifold or exhaust wont seal a thick coat of that stuff works.let it dry over nitebthen next day fire it up let idle 20 to 30 minutes to finish hardning.
