My preferred tool brand? The tools my kids buy me for gifts are priceless. My kids know I like dewalt tools. So for Christmas, birthday, Father's day I usually get a dewalt tool I don't already have. Last Christmas I needed a new bench grinder, Santa got me an 8 inch dewalt. I gave my son a complete set of Craftsman (USA) tools for his birthday. He gave me an identical set (USA) for Father's day. Tools given to me are worth more than any tool I buy.
The other day I saw a man using a brush less 18v Milwaukie sawsall. That's the best cordless sawsall I've ever seen. Doesn't shake. Yes better than my dewalt. He could plunge cut into wood and not bend the blade. I think I'll have to see if Santa thinks I've been naughty or nice.
So brand of tools don't really matter. I started out with Milwaukie tools 40 yeara ago. Then they turned to crap for a while. Now they may need a second look.
Do they make an adaptor to use a 20v dewalt battery on 18v Milwaukie?
