RON, THE REAL PROBLEM WITH STARTING FLUID IS YOU CAN NOT CONTROL IT, THAT IS THE RISK YOU TAKE. YOU ARE RIGHT YOU WANT THE RIGHT FUEL FOR THE SEASON. I HAVE ALWAYS SET THROTTLE AS LOW AS POSSABLE TILL IT IS HITTING ON ALL CYLINDERS, THEN BRING UP SLOWLY AS IT WARMS UP, OTHER WISE YOU ARE JUST WASHING DOWN CYLINDER WALLS. WHAT DOES YOUR OWNERS MANUAL SUGGEST? USING A WHOLE CAN OF STARTING FLUID, ARE YOU SURE YOU DONT HAVE A AIR LEAK AND SUCKING AIR?
