The other machine from that era, that stood out in my mind, was the 144 inverter. Thought it was just the coolest. It didn't help that the dealer told me that the 8N I had at the time would be the perfect tractor for it. Unfortunately, I no longer have the tractor, but I bought an inverter a few years ago.... & it had to have the Ford oval on it. Found out through NH that the serial # made it an '88. So, that's right about the time they came out new.
Market seems to be right these days. Might have to get another N to go with it.
