Sometimes it is easy to get the plug wires on wrong even when you have checked and double checked thing. That why I said to make sure you had it 1,3,4,2 not 1,2,4,3. and moving the plug wires one place can go for one firing order to the other and the mag rotation is backwards of a distributor rotation because of the gear drive of the rotor
