Hi Gerald! I'm not exactly sure what a WA-40 is. We have a WK-40/6cl gas. It is the same motor that IHC used in their K-5 Int. trucks except with a different manifold /updraft carb. I think ours is a 37 model. According to production nos. list there was only 10,000 of the W-series (including the WD's-diesels) made in total. There is the odd one around here-but not many. Parts are hard to find .We spent years finding a good exhaust/intake manifold for ours and to get enough rings the right size I ordered rings for a V8 engine(don"t remember what engine) that had same bore and ring widths. Helps to have a Master Catalogue for TRW or other Major engine component supplier to find what will work.----Bill
