It's funny that you come up with this electricity idea. I've been told more than once that fireants aren't found very often around high-lines and power poles. True??? I've never paid enough attention to tell for myself. The reason, as explained, is that they don't like electricty (they can feel it, hear it, the vibration, something?) and tend to shy away from it. I'm in North Texas and we haven't had the fireants too bad yet. I'm afraid it won't be long. What's worse? I think the killer bees that are on their way will make these fireants look like children's pets. On that note, good luck.........
