My question is not about using calcium or not, but will you actually use the tractor for farm work, or just take it to shows? A tractor used with tillage equipment needs balanced to provide traction, not so important if you are just pulling a mower or rake. I don�t own show tractors, I own work tractors, and the loaded tires are a must for me. I am not too worried about rotting a rim away with calcium, if the tire has a leak, it�s going to go flat. Keep good tires and tubes and leaks aren�t much of a worry.
