My book shows the 4-53in the 1900 & 1950 but also shows the perkins in the 1850/1950 ser.150421 and up, also a change in the pistons in the 283 gas/propane engine at that same serial no. I agree that the 1950T is the Waukesha. I seem to remember reading in a Cockshutt manual -they called it their own engine in the manual- but when I went to get parts it ended up being a Waukesha. I "sit" corrected!!
