On occassion there are extreme HP tractors that can't achieve the wight per HP required but they are rare compaired to the 50 to 150 HP rowcrop tractor applications.
Often the opposite happens. Tractors too small for their load are over ballasted, geared down & lugging along making hard tracks.
38" or 42" radials with 20.8 wide tread on duals allows low tire pressures from 6 to 12 psi & less compaction.
Thats unfortunate about the tractor with two wagons etc but that combination was a hazard on any soil with any tire combo.
