1950 diesel has the Detroit diesel 4-53 two valve engine. The 1950T has a wakashaw (SP?) 310 CI turbocharged diesel. I have owned both ,the 1950 with Detroit is noisy but very reliable.
The 1950T has a very short lived engine,I have owned 2 and usually had big problems at 2500 hrs or less. The same engine in a smaller oliver without the turbo was OK.
