Used to be an old lady here in town that would drive around holding a paperback book with one hand above the steering wheel. People got to where they would see that beat up Pontiac coming and they would just turn onto a different street to avoid her.
A guy that came to the station where I used to work would pull up shift into reverse and get out of his pickup, with the engine running. Saw this happen twice. The first time he couldn't catch it til it hit the guard posts around the propane tank. Sure glad those posts were there.
