Waterpump rebuilding

I have a 1952 case DC and the guys on the case forum said that you can rebuild them ,what kind of seal or packing do these things use?If possibile I would like to rebuild the one I have .Do you guys have any ideas?Also how much would it cost for a remanufactured or aftermarket pump and where do I look for one?Thanks in advance.JMc
