As far as the 'no motorcycles allowed' rule at your apartment, didn't you fight it? Why not?
As for staight pipes on a Vtwin (do you mean Harley and didn't want to say it?) they are too loud. Straight pipes are for people that don't ride too much cause they are just going from bar to bar to impress chicks/buddies/?
