If i remember it right my dad bought something like that from Tractor Supply in the early 70s to mount on a IH balanced head mower for pasture clipping but it did not work well and he when he took it off to mow ditches and under fence lines it never went back on. It probably would have worked better on a trailing mover than ours on the fast hitch of a 230. I do not think it was OEM but an aftermarket item that could be bought from a implement dealer or TSC.
