1942 D6 Cat Dozer - new question

Pulled the injectors, added oil to cyls and it started. The sealer around the injectors turned out to be the O rings. THANKS All the gear oil is a light tan mixed with water or below the dip stick. There appear to be three separate cases with gear oil behind the engine. The first is under the pony motor and may contain gearing to start the engine. Then a u joint. (2)Then the transmission. (3)Then the differential under the driver seat. There are also two more on the rear axle close to each of the rear drive wheels. What kind of fluid do I put in each one of these cases?
