Been pullin a 16 ft flat bed for years hallin round bales and tractors without brakes. Then one day I was bringing a new brush hog home (I just bought) and it just started to rain. Came up to a curve and that trailor push me stright into some small trees. Stop 6 inchs from a 6 foot drop into a creek.

I have since put brakes on!!!!!!!!!
