How much and for how long fit into the equation. If this tractor is intended for small projects that do not utilize the full horsepower and for short periods, just cleaning up the crankshaft and putting in new bearings will likely suffice. Find where it is leaking the oil and make it stop.
If you intend to keep this tractor for years, using it hard for cultivation or for bush hogging for many hours a day, do the full overhaul.
