I've got a friend who is getting desperate to find a flywheel for a Cockshutt 540 tractor. The teeth on the ring gear are pretty much fried. The flywheel has a 14 1/4" diameter with 112 teeth. That model has the Continental flathead 4 cylinder gas engine. I'm not sure whether or not there was an equivalent Oliver model for that tractor or not, maybe someone could tell me. Anyways, he has tried a number of wrecking yards and so far, not a sniff. If you know of any contact or lead, please let me know. Also, is there any possiblity that the flywheel might have showed up on any other Cockshutt model? Thanks for your help.
