Since they cleaned the tank and lines and it now supposedly runs well I would fill it up from a different fuel supply on the way home and try that. If it runs well for that first tank I sure would question the fuel supply.
And as a added precaution I would add some biocide to the fuel. This is sounding more and more like you are in the early stages of algae problems.
I had a similar problem last year. Tractor would not run at full power with screen in bottom of tank. Fuel look clear so I did not suspect algae. Removed screen from tank and it would run. Installed new screen and cleaned all lines and still had loss of power. Treated with biocide and the problem went away.
