SABIN, Minn. - Who needs a barn? Jim Briden parks his 20-ton tractor in the family room. No, Briden is not a bachelor. And yes, his wife approves. Briden owns a restored 110-hoursepower Case steamer built in 1913. He keeps it near the Christmas tree at his home in Sabin. Not under, though. The tractor stands 12 feet tall. Briden finished the restoration 20 years ago, and has been exhibiting the machine. But when he expanded the house, he and his wife decided to move the tractor in. It sits on special heavyweight concrete footings. Briden's wife, Lynette, is fine with this, and has managed to decorate around it with antiques from the same era. But she says Martha Stewart would just die.
