Eccentric bushing in top of casting could be loose .our A shimmied bad.looked and it was loose.back in 65 our j.d. Dealer had a factory reamer and a reclmation bushing. Charged us 35 dollars to fix it . We took assembly off,they rest the worm gear to the gear on the shaft.we put it back on filled it with 140 wt gear oil and its still fine today
