[quote="gotmyfarm!"](quoted from post at 16:29:41 07/13/19) It was so hot, my phone konked out. So I couldn't write on here before I left to tell you that you don't own the tractor. I'm just going to post the part two of the story here.

Gerrit, it's all your fault. I wasn't going to go to this auction. I read about your crazy bid and how you were concerned about them bidding on the correct one, so figured I go and straighten things out. Well, $950 later, now I own a Farmall M with a nice ready-to-work 7' sickle on the back!

Oh. Really sorry I made you buy another tractor, but on a more positive note, I think you'll really enjoy the M. On those days when your other Farmall is tired or doesn't feel like going to work, you'll be glad you have the M. For this area, it sounds like you got a good deal. Not sure about where you live. Since we're spreading around the blame, I feel it's everyone's fault at YT for my even having the idea to go out there and pick up more rust. Even the people who don't post anything--I blame them, too. I accept no responsibility for any of this. I was minding my own business when I bought my Massey with loader, then decided to join here. I'm thinking of canceling my subscription.

How far do you have to go? Since there will be a lot of activity at the farm with people moving things around, I'd buddy up to someone who looks like they're going home empty--or has room on their trailer. For some gas money they might help you out. Maybe just put a sign on the Farmall: "I need a ride home," ph number and see what happens. I'd definitely go there in person, though. You can probably have your tractor home tomorrow. I just moved a parts car with a U-haul car trailer--I don't think it will work but not absolutely sure. Ramps were set up for cars--and loading would be a problem, too--two ramps spread wide apart. Please post pics of the M, I want to see if it's one that I would have recommended. They are supposed to be really good tractors but I know nothing about them. It's red, right?
