As a total Oldsmobile nut This one is easy for me! The truck is an Oldsmobile truck.Olds built some trucks through the years. The ones like on the show were built from 1919-1921.In 1921 there were only a few made as they only had 6 guys working on the truck assembly line since there was a bad ressesion going on then and truck sales were way down! Olds only made the chassis and front end sheetmetal. It was up to the dealer or the buyer to put on a custom bed or body suited for what ever they were going to use the truck for. The engine was very similar to the Chevy 4 cylinder but does have a few small differences. I do think a lot of engine parts interchange.I have a friend who is selling his VERY NICE Olds wrecker truck. Olds also made a light delivery "truck" around 1903-1909. They were slightly beefed up curved dash cars. There was also a very nice looking Oldsmobile pickup truck sold in Australia around 1936-1938 but they are very rare even down there. It was a regular truck and not one of the "utes" that had a car frontend and a box formed into the back.

The need for fabricating becomes obvious when you go to buy any of these
