In most cases yes. Be careful that the pintle is held for tongue weight as well as pilling force. Also account for direct pull on the structure. The 3 point could be used if a quick adapter is attached to the 3pt and the pentle attached to the adapter. The side to side sway can be stopped with control braces or?, but is needed to assure good trailing of the device being towed. The only advantage of the drawbar type may be solidity. Its disadvantage is that it may block normal drawbar use. Jim
