twopop,where did you come up with only (6908) 806 Farmalls being built between 1963 and 1967? The 806 rowcrops(Farmalls) started at #501 and the newest one known to be left is #42138 so over 40,000 were built.They are everywhere. You must be talking about Wheatland 806's(Internationals) where nearly 7000 were built.Wheatland 806's started at #501 and the highest # known to be left is #6944. I dont beleive anyone ever said JD did anything wrong.I personally dont like JD's but will admit they made some good tractors.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
