: I am looking for an affordable pto generator for emergency power. Any thoughts or experiences on what to look out for? Appreciate comments. Leo We have a 10 year old Winco 25 kw generator. Wincos often are considered a cheaper generator but we've had good luck with it. Running it with a JD 2510 puts out enough juice to run the pump and 4 units, run the silo unloader and gutter cleaner, cool milk, etc. During last January's ice storm it ran 18 days straight, 16 hrs a day between 2 farms with no problems. We also own a 125 kw Winco with a 4 cylinder Cummins diesel which powers the milling equipment at the local farm store that we own and also ran the local grocery store's 200 amp sevice easily during the same storm. Good generators!
