And I feel the same towards our Canadian friends. Northwestern Alberta is a whale of a ways from me though. I bet it's beautiful there. I live just east of Quincy, Michigan, painfully close to Ohio. (The Toledo War still rages in some of our hearts, though mostly in humor.) Go ahead and google my name with "blacksmith" behind it, and you'll see pictures of my shop, if that interests you. It's all on line shafts driven by an old open flywheel engine from 1898. You might like it, I don't know. I love old technology. The old tractor thing is a hobby, along with my "farming" where we grow enough hay for our own critters and hopefully have enough to spare to pay the next year's land rent. Doesn't always work that way though. I'd like to farm more, but that's still a dream for some day.
