I own several late model JD tractors and a few older ones. But the 2 cyl JD's are junk! Why do you think that Deere abandoned that design? A 4 cyl runs much smoother, pto driven implement perform better, quieter, etc...Collectors love them and frustraited farmers that are still trying to relive their childhood crave them. But any rational person can see that the 2 cyl JD's are a good ridance!
