When I originally walled in a pole barn to make a shop I used wafer-board on the open side for the exterior wall and painted the heck out of it. Unfortunately it soaked from the bottom up and is starting to rot from there. I have sided it with galvanized, corrugated roofing. I want to caulk the bottom edge at the cement and where sheets meet wood but I thought I'd get your opinions on what to use. I once had a auto-body shop tell me never to use silicone caulk on car metal because it would corrode it w/i a year. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance,,,, gm
