You will generally see them called a remote valve. As Showcrop said it is a simple matter to remove the block off plate and install a single or dual valve in its place. New ones are nearly cost prohibitive - like $1200? for a dual and probably 800 for a single. I would look for a used one and expect to pay about $250 for a single and $500 for a dual. There are several different styles. I don't know that one type is better than another. Ford used the exact same mounting base and valves on all of their under 70? HP tractors from 1955 all the way up to 1983 that I know of. So any valve from a 600, 801, and 2/3/4/5 and 7000 plus all the 2600/36/46/5600 tractors are a direct bolt on for your 801.
