When is a tank too far gone? I’m gonna fix three holes in my JD 60 fuel tank with one of them being about 3/8” in size, got the tank soaking in vinegar at the moment, gonna carry it to work with me next week and put some acid in it that we use then wash it out and try to tig weld the holes up, then I’ll probably get some kind of tank sealer to put in it. Was wondering if any of you had any interesting stories on some severely rusted tanks that you salvaged rather than tossed away.
