Where on the tractor are you getting that serial number from? It doesn't sound right somehow. If you do not have the tin plate with the model and serial number on it, the serial number is also hand stamped on the top of the machined surface of the transmission/differential case between the platform for the shifting mechanism and the steel plate that is bolted down on top of the rear end. Stand on the left side of the tractor and it should be there (in the vicinity of the clutch pedal area). There is probably a ton of paint and crap covering it so you'll have to do some scrapping and wire brushing to find it.
