It can take a little back and forth, but it is just a matter of backing up to it just right so that the left side ball slips over the pin and pulls on a little bit. Then you take ahold of the crank handle for the right side and pull it towards the seat to bring the right ball to the pin, adjust height as needed. Once the right one is started then you just pull ahead a little to pull them both on good.
