Try this: First remove the Spark-Plug and hold it against metall,but not with the hand take an isolated tool, start engine if there's a spark, ignition is ok. After check out this clean the carburettor, it's a very difficult work to do, but the most of the B&S got dirt in the fueltank and this will
block the nozzles in the tank. May be thats the main problem. My B&S engines have this very often, in the Moment I'm working at a 5HP.
