Pretty sure all Rolex watches have a serial number...just like your car has a VIN. I sure would run that serial number through the Rolex data bank before I ever bid on it. Scratch that, I'd never bid on it. Funny thing about Rolex watches, my son was in Thailand a couple of years ago. They had brand, new knock-off Rolex watches (I knew ahead of time that they were fake), for $35. And yes, they even have the continuous Rolex movement instead of the "second" sweep that a normal wrist watch has. Anyway, I never wear it. I keep it on my desk for a conversation piece.
