I have a 2018 F-150 with the 5.0 V8. Running it 75 MPH it consistently gets 18 MPG. If I keep it at 60-65 it will get 21. Around on short trips about 17-18. This engine was $1500 less than the large Ecoboost V6 and there is about 1MPG less. Has all the power and performance I need, and for me a diesel makes no sense. This a 4 door with FWD.
